Well hello there! I am Katherine and this is apparently a blog I have created to procrastinate and fixate over fictional characters and share opinions through other peoples creativity. If you were wondering, thats my face above, admiring a double helix made of Raspberry twisters and mini marshmallows.
Anyway, thats about it. Oh and if my friends are reading this and making fun of me, I love you too guys.
The marauders sitting in the common room doing homework and James is reading for an assignment and he thinks it’s stupid and just yells “are you fucking serious?!”
Remus says “yes” before thinking it through and begins contemplating a jump off the astronomy tower. Sirius looks momentarily horrified then Peter passes over a galleon to James and they move on with their homework as if it never happened.
The name’s Mickey. Mickey Smith. Defending the earth.
And that’s what I call character development.
WHY DON’T MORE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT MICKEY FUCKING SMITH.
I’m not disputing Mickey’s growth at all. I fucking love Mickey and I feel like he is SERIOUSLY underrated as an interesting and useful character. But these two scene are kind of different. In the first Mickey is terrified because he’s been kidnapped by the Autons and the rescued and now Rose wants to leave with this friend man in a box who got them into this mess in the first place. The second one is Martha and Mickey on a (probably) freelance mission against a Sontaran, and the Doctor has just appeared and waved goodbye and walked away, and they’ve both just realized he’s dying. There’s no disputing that Mickey has grown up in 4 seasons and no disputing how wonderful of a character he is, but these two scenes are also wildly different.
